NAME: Kronk

WORK OF FICTION: Walt Disney's animated adventure comedy, "The Emperor's New Groove"; released in 2000 (Was it REALLY that long ago? I feel incredibly old, now...)

CHARACTER TYPE: Side character; henchman (even though he is the greatest character in the movie)

REASON FOR INCLUSION: From the very first scene that he shows up, until the last scene that plays... Kronk makes me laugh so hard. "The Emperor's New Groove" is a kid's movie, and I have seen it probably 150 times. (Although, I admittedly freakin' LOVE children's movies; more than any adult really should...) And this one NEVER gets old! I think it's one of the most under-rated, played down Disney movies that they have ever made. And definitely one of the funniest, if not THE funniest. Every single character is so different and funny, in their own way.

But, in my opinion, Kronk takes the cake as the star character of the film. Voiced by Patrick Warburton, he kind of didn't have a choice but to be hysterical. Dumber than a box of rocks, Kronk's naivete and general thickness in the skull promises some of the best lines from the movie. He is technically the henchman of the film's antagonist, but that doesn't stop you from loving him. Kudos to the screenwriters, because there aren't many movies out there where EVERY SINGLE LINE is ingenious and makes you laugh. And 90% of those lines come from the mouth of Kronk. Dumb, adorable, comical Kronk.

Now, if you have not seen this movie... I feel so very sorry for you, and I am afraid that we can never be friends. Haha. WATCH IT!!! Even if you don't have kids, this is an amazing and funny movie for all ages! One of my favorites, so THANK YOU, DISNEY!!! And thank you, Kronk, for making me laugh to the point of tears. *Squeak-squeaker-squeaken.*

(They made a sequel, called "Kronk's New Groove"; and that is a funny movie, too. But I don't think it holds a candle to the original. And if you plan on watching both of them, definitely watch them in order. You will be glad you did. Be prepared to laugh!)
